Small Round/ Heart Gift Cake:

A One-Tiered Cake featuring four round 6 inch diameter layers of 1inch (2.54cm) high cake, each layer of cake has a filling of your choosing as well as our signature Swiss meringue buttercream.

Cake feeds 8 dessert slices or 12 smaller square 'coffee' slices

Cake height before decorations is approximately 10cm.

Typically presented in cake box 8inch length by 8inch width by 8inch height (20.3cm x 20.3cm x 20.3cm).

 

Medium Round / Heart Baby Cake

None of our cakes (apart from our PBJ cake) contain nuts as listed ingredients, however our studio may handle nut products at other times. Therefore we do claim that any products made in our kitchen may contain traces of nuts.For a full ingredient list or for any concerns around nut allergies, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team directly.

Yes all of our cakes and cupcakes come with a Vegan friendly or Gluten free option.

Due to the nature of the creative and cake decorating processes, we do not copy or replicate other artist’s work. Mood boards and inspiration images are welcomed, and will be used for inspiration only. We will always do our best to communicate with you, and create a cake that you’re going to love. 

Please consider booking a custom cake to be similar to commissioning a piece of artwork. There must be an element of trust for your cake designer. If we don’t fit your desired aesthetic or feel we are unable to create the design you’re looking for, we may recommend someone else to help you instead. We only want the best outcome possible for you!

If it is different to our style of cakes, please discuss with us prior to ordering so we can be sure to give you the cake you desire.

Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Baby Cakes, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Refunds & Returns Policy

At Baby Cakes, we take great pride in the quality of our cakes. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase due to a quality issue, we offer a 24-hour money-back guarantee from the time of collection or delivery.

Eligibility for Refund or Replacement:

• You must contact us at babycakes.madebysarah@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your order.

• To qualify for a refund or replacement, you must return at least ¾ of the uneaten product and provide a copy of your invoice.

• Refunds will not be granted based on personal preference, change of mind, or incorrect cake selection.

Non-Refundable Situations:

• Cakes that have been altered, dropped, or damaged after collection/delivery.

• Color variations due to screen or lighting differences (colors may appear slightly different in person).

• Partially or fully consumed cakes.

• Custom cakes with personalized designs or messages that were approved before production.

• Orders cancelled less than 24 hours before collection/delivery (see cancellation policy below).

Refunds Process:

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

• Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.

Cancellationss & Admin Fees

If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees apply:

• 48+ hours before pickup/delivery → Full refund minus an admin fee:

• Orders under $200: $25 admin fee

• Orders over $200: $50 admin fee

• Orders over $400: $100 admin fee

• 24–48 hours before pickup/delivery → 50% refund of total order amount.

• Less than 24 hours before pickup/delivery → No refund available as your cake will be well underway.

Admin fees cover our time spent processing orders, planning, emailing, and logistics.

Delivery Policy

Delivery Responsibility:

• Once your cake leaves our premises, we are not responsible for any damage during transport if you or a third party (e.g., courier) has organized collection.

• If Baby Cakes arranges delivery via a courier, we will ensure the cake is securely packaged before handing it over. However, we cannot control how it is handled once in transit.

Delivery Timing & Receiving the Cake:

• Due to traffic conditions and unforeseen delays, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. We will provide an estimated arrival time (ETA) and do our best to communicate any delays.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the agreed delivery time.

• Couriers cannot wait if no one is home. If no one is present, the cake may need to be left at the delivery location, and Baby Cakes and the courier are not responsible for any damage or loss once it has been left.

Kindness & Respect Policy ✨

Baby Cakes is a small business, and we value kind and respectful communication.

• We do not tolerate any form of aggression, abuse, intimidation, bullying, harassment, or defamation toward our team.

• If these behaviors occur, communication will be ceased immediately, and we reserve the right to refuse service.

We will always do our best to work with customers fairly and within our policies to resolve any concerns.
