Small Round/ Heart Gift Cake:

A One-Tiered Cake featuring four round 6 inch diameter layers of 1inch (2.54cm) high cake, each layer of cake has a filling of your choosing as well as our signature Swiss meringue buttercream.

Cake feeds 8 dessert slices or 12 smaller square 'coffee' slices

Cake height before decorations is approximately 10cm.

Typically presented in cake box 8inch length by 8inch width by 8inch height (20.3cm x 20.3cm x 20.3cm).

 

Medium Round / Heart Baby Cake

None of our cakes (apart from our PBJ cake) contain nuts as listed ingredients, however our studio may handle nut products at other times. Therefore we do claim that any products made in our kitchen may contain traces of nuts.For a full ingredient list or for any concerns around nut allergies, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team directly.

Yes all of our cakes and cupcakes come with a Vegan friendly or Gluten free option.

Due to the nature of the creative and cake decorating processes, we do not copy or replicate other artist’s work. Mood boards and inspiration images are welcomed, and will be used for inspiration only. We will always do our best to communicate with you, and create a cake that you’re going to love. 

Please consider booking a custom cake to be similar to commissioning a piece of artwork. There must be an element of trust for your cake designer. If we don’t fit your desired aesthetic or feel we are unable to create the design you’re looking for, we may recommend someone else to help you instead. We only want the best outcome possible for you!

If it is different to our style of cakes, please discuss with us prior to ordering so we can be sure to give you the cake you desire.

NOTE: If we give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the cake. You can only get the refund if you refuse to “accept” the cake. If you have taken the cake home/ or not contacted us straight away once you’ve received the cake - it’s agreeable you’ve accepted the cake.

We will do our best to work with you kindly within the agreed terms & conditions. However- any of the above actions or behaviours will not be tolerated. Contact will be ceased immediately & no further contact or discussion will be had. Baby cakes will not work with any customers who display these behaviours.

Refund & Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase due to quality issue, we will give you a one (1) day (24 hours) money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. Please email us at babycakes.madebysarah@gmail.com  within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems.

We do not accept change-of-mind refunds. Colours are subject to light/ photo filters & interpretation. We will not provide a refund due to a colour being a shade off etc.

This refund policy does not apply to goods which if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken.

You are entitled to a full refund, gift voucher or replacement item of same or lesser value if you are not satisfied with the product. You will be required to provide the bakery a copy of the invoice and return the product, baby cakes is not taking responsibility to pick up the item (or remains of the product，remains of product must more than 3/4 of purchased portion ). The refund policy is not based on personal preference or purchasing the wrong cake. If the cake has been purchased on our website, you will need to retain your email invoice.

Delivery delays caused by uncontrollable factors such as traffic jams are not within the scope of refunds

5% processing fee apply for refunds due to customer decisions. Bank charges are not refundable.

Refunds will be processed within 2 business days and may take up to 10 days to appear in your account.

NOTE: If we give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the cake. You can only get the refund if you refuse to “accept” the cake. If you have taken the cake home - it’s agreeable you’ve accepted the cake. We will NOT negotiate a partial refund if you keep the cake. This is a “take it or leave it” policy.d) Bank charges related to the transaction are not refundable in case of cancellation or changes.

**1. General Returns and Refunds:**
1.1 We take pride in the quality of our cakes, but if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a hassle-free return and refund policy.
1.2 To be eligible for a return or refund, please ensure that you contact us within 24 hours from the date of delivery or pickup.

**2. Perishable Nature of Cakes:**
2.1 As cakes are perishable items, we accept returns or provide refunds only for the following reasons:
a) The cake arrived in a damaged or unappealing condition.
b) The wrong cake flavour or entirely wrong design was delivered.

**3. Non-Returnable Items:**
3.1 For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items are non-returnable. These include but are not limited to:
a) Cakes that have been partially or entirely consumed.
b) Customised cakes with personalised messages or designs that were approved by the customer.
c) Cakes ordered for a specific date or occasion and not due to any quality issue.

 

d) Bank charges related to the transaction are not refundable in case of cancellation or changes.

 

 

**4. Return Procedure:**
4.1 To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
a) Contact our customer support team at babycakes.madebysarah@gmail.com within the specified time frame.
b) Provide relevant details such as your order number, date of purchase, and a description of the issue.
c) Our customer support team will guide you through the return process and provide further instructions.

**5. Refund Process:**
5.1 Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
5.2 If your return is approved, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.
5.3 Please note that the processing time for the refund may vary depending on your payment provider.

If your order needs to be canceled:
48hrs + prior to collection / delivery: we will refund the payment made minus the admin fees below.
If we’ve already begun making your order, additional fees will be deducted based on how far into the process we are. 

Orders < $200 = $25 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount

Orders > $200 = $50 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount

Orders > $400 = $100 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount

Between 24-48hrs prior to collection / delivery: we will refund you 50% of the total amount of your order
Less than 24hrs prior to collection / delivery will incur full fees as your cake will be well under way. Your cake will be ready for collection at the allocated time or we can chat to arrange something more suitable

Your admin fee can not be used towards other items.
The admin fee covers our time spent emailing, rescheduling your order, processing your orders, planning and logistics and time processing refunds.

At the moment we only make cakes for The Melbourne Region.

Yes we offer pick up to all of our customers.
